Restored by hand, Renewed for life
"Keep the story, change the fabric!"
There’s always that one chair or sofa that just feels right.
It fits perfectly, it’s comfortable, it’s part of your home.
Over the years, the fabric wears down, a small tear appears,
or a stain just won’t go away.
It’s still a good piece — it just needs some attention.
That’s where the work begins: restoring what’s already there,
keeping its shape, its comfort, its story.
With durable materials and careful hands,
each piece is brought back to life — ready for many more years of use.
Restored by hand. Renewed for life.

1. Request a price indication
Would you like to know what it costs to have a piece reupholstered?
Send me a short message with a description of the furniture — for example, whether it’s a chair, sofa, or footstool — and what you have in mind for the fabric or style.
To make a realistic first estimate, please include several photos:
the front, sides, back,
and especially the underside, so I can assess the frame and construction.
Based on the photos, I’ll provide an initial rough price indication.
This is meant as a guideline — the real work becomes clear only once the piece is in the workshop and I can open it up.
2. Fabric choice & planning
I can advise on fabrics, colours, and finishes.
In my atelier, I have a wide range of fabric books from renowned brands such as De Ploeg, Vescom, Keymer, and others.
You’re welcome to browse through them and feel the materials in person.
If you prefer, I can also send photos or small samples by mail.
Together we plan when the piece can be delivered or collected — whatever works best.
3. Assessment & consultation
When the furniture arrives, I carefully check the inside: the frame, springs, filling, and finish.
Sometimes there’s more (or less) work needed than the photos showed.
Everything is discussed first — you’ll always know what’s needed and what it costs before I continue.
No surprises, just clear communication.
4. Reupholstery
The furniture is taken apart, repaired where needed, and reupholstered with care.
I use durable materials and work with respect for the original design.
All decisions about materials or details are made in consultation, so the result fits exactly what you have in mind.
Once the work is done, I’ll let you know when the piece can be collected or delivered.
You’ll receive it clean, sturdy, and ready for its second life.
